Welcome! Thank you so much for visiting my blog.
Earlier this week, I was deeply touched by a Volvo car commercial, which was clearly inspired by an Emerson essay. The quote in the commercial goes something like this, “to be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best to make you everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight and never stop.” This statement captures my purpose for writing.
I started Needing Nothing because after over 20 years of being alive (LOL), I realized that life is hard, especially when there’s pressure to search outside of yourself for fulfillment. This realization has caused me to learn about spiritual concepts, practice healthier habits, and do some internal work. I am no where near done with my work, but I am inspired to share what I’m learning with others.
I do want to express that this blog is representative of my opinions. I am not declaring that what I write is true for everyone. It’s simply true for me, at this time. Take what you like and leave the rest. I hope that you gain something from what I post and share it with someone else.
